It’s unbelievable what food can do! Just make a few changes while grocery shopping and cooking and anyone can fight off, and potentially cure, certain cancers. I recently read an article about turmeric and its affect on the body. Amazingly, if concentrated into an extract (called liposomal curcumin) and administered to cancer patients it can help fight tumour growth. This is the result of multiple studies that indicate that this spice can help kill cancer cells. Could you imagine if chemotherapy no longer had to be used, and instead a change of diet is all it took?
There have been so many success stories of people who were diagnosed with cancer and cured themselves by increasing certain foods they ate, and eliminating others. For example, after experiencing no results with chemotherapy and radiation, some people removed all dairy from their lives (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.) and saw a significant difference. Growths and tumours shrunk and disappeared!
The more I read, the more I discovered how certain foods and spices can help fight, reduce, or remove cancer cells.
Here is only a short list of foods that everyone should eat more of:
- Leafy Greens – broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, kale, spinach, and green tea
- Berries – strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and dried Indian gooseberry
- Lycopene-rich foods – tomatoes, grapefruit, purple cabbage, and carrots
- Spices – turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, and cayenne pepper
While there is no absolute cure for cancer, a change in diet can’t hurt and with so many positive results, who wouldn’t want to?
