WHEN: October 18th to 20th
Fall is back and a crispy chill is in the air! Being in the Byward Market at this time is really exciting. Everyone – including visitors and vendors – is trying to make the most of the time they have left of the season. Before the wind, snow, and below zero temperatures roll in, we all want to get in a little outdoor fun.
Fairly soon, the market will be hosting Oktoberfest. It runs from the 18th to the 20th. There will be music, dancing, wagon rides, giant pumpkins, beer, and tasty food! This celebration is one of the greatest in the city because of two important reasons:
- It’s free, and
- It’s FREE
What’s more convincing than a free event to take the whole family to? Not only will families be able to celebrate together, but they’ll also be downtown in Byward Market. They can truly make a day out of their visit, as there are so many fun places to eat and shop.
For music, you can expect to hear Eric Eggleston, Searson, The Tartan Terrors, Junkyard Symphony, and more!
Also, if you’re still hungry after eating all those pretzels and sausages, we’d love you to visit one of our 2 market locations. On a chilly day, our on-the-go chicken tikka wrap will keep your stomach satisfied!
